Well it has been another two weeks and I still feel as though I have not progressed as much as I would have liked to by now. Learning the guitar is much more difficult than I ever thought it would be, but I do feel like this process is very beneficial for me. I am still learning the same song and have made some very good progress, but I am still not quite where I would have liked it to be by now. I am struggling with changing from one chord to the next, especially going from an Em chord to a G chord.

I have also noticed how important it is to have correct hand positioning on the guitar. My wrist was always hurting after I would practice, and I could not understand why that was. I was told by a classmate that I needed to change how I was holding the guitar, and this has helped me a ton.

I am also very proud to say that I have successfully got the strumming pattern down pat, which has been quite the accomplishment for me as I did not even know that a strumming pattern existed prior to learning the guitar. I still need to work on combining both the strumming pattern and chord changing at the same time. I still believe that I could be spending more time practicing my guitar, but I am happy with how I have incorporated planning out practice times into my schedule. Next I will be working on my chord changes and incorporating both the strumming pattern and chord changes at the same time.
