My name is Laura Anthony and I am currently enrolled at University of Victoria in my second year of the elementary education program. Becoming a teacher has always been a goal of mine, I love working with children and jump at every opportunity I have to be in a classroom with them. I am very excited to keep developing my teaching skills and further my experiences.
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that a classroom should be a safe and inviting environment, where all students are able to express themselves and grow not only as learners but as people too. A place where creativity and imagination can be freely expressed; where teaching techniques can be adapted to fit the needs of all students. Students are open to making connections to their peers and teacher in order to collaborate and learn from one another. I am so thankful to you forgiving me the chance to come into your classroom and learn hands on.
